Co-curricular options at our College
Our College is proud to offer co-curriular options that enchance the holistic development of our students, providing outlets for creativity and to deepen learning.
Chess Club:
Chess is offered to all students from Yr4 onwards with weekly coaching in the Library for Primary and Secondary students at the House. Those in Secondary also have the chance to be part of the BCC Chess Team and represent the College at local and state competition levels.
Performing Arts:
At Border Christian College, the Performing Arts provide a rich and vibrant space for students to reflect the character of God through creativity, expression, and storytelling. Grounded in our Adventist worldview, students are encouraged to explore their God-given talents in music and drama, developing both skill and spiritual purpose.
In addition to classroom learning, students can participate in choirs, chapel bands, and drama skits that contribute meaningfully to our worship programs. These opportunities allow students to serve, lead, and inspire their peers through performance that uplifts and unites.
We also partner with local musicians to offer private tutoring, helping families nurture individual musical journeys. Through Performing Arts, students grow in confidence, collaboration, and compassion—reflecting our College values of Hope, Discernment, Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Justice, Responsibility, and Humility.
Every note, every line spoken, becomes an act of worship and a step toward a life of purpose and praise.
